Manga about rookie detective who teams up with legendary thief inspired live-action series last year
This year's 29th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine revealed on Thursday that Shū Fukuda's Dorokei manga will end in the magazine's next issue on June 27.
The buddy cop series focuses on Tsutomu Madarame, a newbie detective, and Haruto, a man in his fifties who is known as the legendary thief "Smoke Crow." The unexpected pair team up to solve cases.
The manga launched in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump magazine in January 2018. The fifth compiled volume shipped on April 19.
The manga inspired a live-action television series titled Dorokei -Keishichō Sōsa Sanka- that premiered last October. The show starred Sexy Zone's Kento Nakajima as Madarame and Kenichi Endō as Haruto.
