This year's 15th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is revealing on Monday that the band Kuroneko Chelsea will perform a new ending theme titled "Ao no Lullaby" (Blue Lullaby) for the Naruto Shippūden television anime series. The new ending song will premiere in April.
The group previously provided a theme song for the Gintama' anime series. The band's most recent release is their "Good Bye" single, which shipped on February 3.
The current theme ending theme song for Naruto Shippūden is Thinking Dogs' "Sonna Kimi, Konna Boku" song, which debuted in the show in January.
The anime started its airing of the Naruto Shippūden: Itachi Shinden-hen: Hikari to Yami arc on March 3. The arc adapts Takashi Yano's two-volume Naruto spinoff novels Itachi Shinden, which tell the story of Itachi before the start of the manga.
