Adult Toys, Glue, & Corned Beef Vie to Sponsor New Tiger & Bunny Anime Series
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Although the new Tiger & Bunny anime series project was just announced today, Japanese companies are already vying to become sponsors of the show's heroes. Corporations big and small took to Twitter to celebrate the anime's announcement and give not-so-subtle hints that they would like to be sponsors.
Corned Beef brand Nozaki thinks it could be a good fit for the character Rock Bison, and adhesive maker Cemedine wants to sponsor Sky High. Meanwhile, a staff member at bicycle race ticket seller Satellite Osaka has their heart set on title character Wild Tiger. Candle maker Kameyama thinks its logo would look cool on Origami Cyclone.
According to the post below, sweets maker Ukokkei Honpo is still searching for a good candidate and taking suggestions.

Companies such as game developer Kemco and taxi service Kumamoto Taxi are apparently googling how to become sponsors. Other companies expressing interest include spring water company Crystal Geyser, mobile network provider au, bus service Fuji Kyūkō Bus, scale maker Tanita, and adult item maker Tenga.
The Twitter account and the official website for the upcoming anime will announce more details at a later date, so sponsor hopefuls are likely to keep throwing their hats in the ring until then.
The original television anime series centers around heroes for hire — super powered beings known as NEXT who wear sponsor logos while fighting crime on live television.
