posted on by Amanda Whalen
Game developer Wargaming announced a new collaboration between its naval-themed MMO World of Warships and the television anime High School Fleet (Haifuri).
The collaboration will include new premium ships to buy, such as the HSF Harekaze destroyer and the HSF Graf Spee cruiser, and lines recorded by Sora Amamiya and Shiina Natsukawa, who voiced the characters Akeno Misaki and Moeka China in the anime.
Wargaming has previously done collaborations with Arpeggio of Blue Steel and Girls und Panzer.
The High School Fleet anime aired in Spring 2016 and was streamed by Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Daisuki. It was licensed by Aniplex of America. A two-part OVA will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on May 24. The first of the two parts aired on March 31. The upcoming World of Warships collaboration is currently planned to coincide with the OVA's Blu-ray and DVD release.
