Actor says team is "still knocking on that door, but it has not opened"
In a video interview posted on Tuesday, actor Keanu Reeves told MTV News that he is still trying to turn the Cowboy Bebop anime into a live-action movie. "I had some conversations. I believe there's still knocking on that door, but it has not opened."
The award-winning space science-fiction anime series was first shown to American audience on Adult Swim in 2001. As a fan of the series, Keanu Reeves first revealed the possibility of a live action Cowboy Bebop movie in 2008. But Reeves said last year that prospects of the live-action movie are still uncertain with a submitted script and a potentially high budget.
