posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
The official Steam page for Platinum Games and Sega's Bayonetta game posted a news announcement on Thursday titled "Baa" and showing a photo of a sheep. Sheep feature prominently as recurring imagery in the game Catherine by Atlus (a subsidiary of Sega).
The Australian Classification Board previously rated a game titled "Catherine Classic" by Atlus in December.
Atlus released its mature action-adventure/puzzle game Catherine for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2011. Atlus USA released the game in North America in 2011, and the game also shipped in Europe and Australia in 2012. The game was a collaboration between Atlus and the Genius Party animators at Studio 4°C. The game shared notable staff with Atlus' Persona series, including director and producer Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. Studio 4°C produced the animated sequences.
Atlus' Studio Zero is developing a new version of the game titled Catherine: Full Body that will ship in Japan on February 14 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game will also get a release in the Americas and Europe this year.
Update: ESRB's listing for the original Catherine game now lists Windows PC in addition to PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. [Via Siliconera]
