I really want an anime adaptation of this amazing sports series! It would be great!

I'm also not a fan of when a story sets up one character to obviously lose a romantic competition when they have a closer and more personal connection with the lead compared to the primary love interest

Yeah this has been one of my main problems with the manga, as someone who is generally neutral on love triangles. Hina grew to be probably my favorite character but she so obviously won't win in the end so it's frustrating that her romantic storyline is better written than Chinatsu's.

An anime adaptation is pretty much just a matter of time considering how well it's been selling without one and it's in WSJ.

I also hope that they announce an anime adaptation soon!
