Conan 63, Naruto 44, Reborn! 22 stay on top; Negima 24 brings in Y100 million

The 11th and final volume of Arina Tanemura's The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross manga appeared twice on Oricon's latest weekly comic ranking chart; the standard edition and the 1,200-yen (about US$12.00) special edition sold a combined total of 78,895 copies. The limited first edition DVD bundle of Ken Akamatsu's Negima! Magister Negi Magi #24 only ranked at #20, but it brought in more money than any other manga this week. Since its 28,937 copies each sold for 3,570 yen (US$37), this one volume brought in at least 103,305,090 yen (US$1,069,311). The first two volumes of Ryō Ryūmon and Kōji Megumi's Bloody Monday manga were released in 2007, but they continued to enjoy a boost from the ongoing television drama adaptation. They jumped back into the comic ranking charts for the fourth time in six weeks.
