I was about time for the anime announcement but i didn't expect Science Saru, the aesthetic of the studio is a good fit though.

I been waiting for this. Hopefully they can do the art justice. I wonder if they are going to have to do any censoring for the first episode.

Most likely CR, but I also wouldn't be surprised if Netflix or Disney somehow snatches this. Few reliable leakers are suggesting that CR has a "big anime" to announce sometime next year. Don't know if it's this one or something else.

I hope that it will be CR as subs from others are released with big delays.

I’m also heavily leaning towards CR acquiring this but as crazy as it sounds I wouldn’t rule out Hidive either given their partnership with MBS.

Yeah, I just now noticed that MBS is the one that uploaded the video which is somewhat an indicator that they are high on the production committee. Gonna be honest, if Hidive somehow picks this up, this show will essentially "die" given that their platform is falling apart at the moment.
And I have no idea what the stipulation is with this deal, but CR is somehow still licensing shows from MBS even though MBS is #1 on the production committee.

Couldn't ask for a better anime staff. Science Saru is always putting out gorgeous animation and Kensuke Ushio's soundtracks never disappoint.

I get excited about that. The action scenes should be incredible, but I believe the only question is whether the ecchi will be kept the same as the manga.
They'll probably delete it, nowadays that's not popular in mainstream anime.

I feel the same way too even though I have Hidive this show would be much better in CR lol, I am curious about the stipulation of what goes to Hidive with MBS as you said because this reminds of the whole Disney and Kodansha partnership where Disney gets exclusive right to certain Kodansha titles but CR is still licencing most of Kodanshas shows.
